The coastal city is bordered by hills in the south and farmland to the north and west, and the Liffey River runs through its center. Stroll through the city (but make sure you take an umbrella!) and enjoy the old-world architecture and the many park areas that can be found throughout.
Highlights include the thirteenth century castle, Trinity College, and the Spire of Dublin. An easy way to explore the city is on foot or by bike, you can drop your bike off at any of the terminals in the city. Head to the Temple Bar area for a great night out, and to enjoy a Guinness! In the vicinity of Grafton Street, which is one of the main shopping streets in the center, you will also find a number of pubs, restaurants, and clubs.
